We review the property in relation to your requirements, considering how the layout, proportions, circulation and existing conditions affect its suitability for what you have planned.
The discussion also gives us an opportunity to understand your expectations, identify matters requiring further investigation and consider the extent of design involvement appropriate for the project.
Plans and project information are reviewed where available. You do not need to have an established brief before approaching us.
What happens next
Following the consultation, we prepare a tailored project brief and proposal outlining our understanding of your requirements, the recommended design service, proposed scope of work, design fee estimate and next steps.
This establishes how Patina Design Studio would be involved and gives you a clear basis for considering the next stage of your project.
The Design Consultation fee is $1,200 including GST. This includes up to two hours of consultation with Patina Design Studio and the written project brief and proposal outlined above.
The standard fee applies to consultations within 15 km of our Dover Heights office. For properties outside this area, any additional travel fee will be confirmed after booking and must be paid before the consultation.
